Vitamin e oil and postpartum

Hello
So I went shopping today for a postpartum belt and firming cream since I'm due in 4 days and would like to have those ready. A lady at the store came up to me and told me she used vitamin e oil after her little girls birth and it worked. My question is has anyone used this? Did it work? How often do I apply it? Or are there any other tips to help minimize stretch marks after birth?
Ftm so this has all been a learning process :-)

My nephew's mom used bio oil religiously her whole pregnancy and never got a single stretch mark.
I use it as well, so here's hoping.
The reason Vitamin E oil is said to work is because vitamin e helps your skin regain/maintain elasticity so it works wonder on preventing/ridding stretch marks(:

I have used vitamin E oil throughout my pregnancy. It moisturizes way better than anything else I have tried. But I'm not too big yet, so I have yet to see if it prevents stretch marks. I'm hoping so!
