What would you do...

Question

We live in an apartment where the guy next door beats his dog, we can hear him throwing him against the wall, punching him, and kicking him. I've called animal control on him once for leaving his dog outside in the freezing weather crying all day and night with no food, bed, or anything...and the lady said "he takes care of his dogs"
My heart breaks for this little puppy and I wish I could save him
I'm an animal lover, and have never heard a dog cry and yelp for its life so bad (it happens everyday)
I want to record it and go up to animal control but I'm afraid they won't do anything about it like she didn't last time
What would you do...?

CALL them again until they do something, the more complants they get the more interested they r. when he is beating his dog call 911 and they will come out or direct you to someone who will help... poor dog :(

Record the crying. Keep a journal and write the dates and times. Both can be used as evidence. Call the police if animal control won't do anything. Even go into your local police station. Tell then about your concerns being pregnant and living beside that too. Please let us know the outcome. I hope the dog gets taken away from him. I've been a pretty angry pregnant lady, give me the address and I'll beat the man with a bat so he knows how it feels. That makes me so sick to my stomach. Animals only want to give love if treated right. This man deserves to rot in a jail cell. I hope he ends up there.

keep calling. You could also call the police and makenoise complaints. Do it as many times needed. And you could go to you landlord abd complain about it also.

I would knock on that assholes door and say I hear u beat ur puppy everyday if u don't want it give it to me or to the animal shelter. I'm going to continue to call animal control on you or notify the apt manager. Also add that u are pregnant and don't feel safe with him beating his dog even tell ur apt manager that too! Do something about it until it stops

Call the police and tell them you are reporting animal cruelty let them know you called animal control snd nothing has been done and you want them to check it out

If he leaves it outside again I would take it and bring it to the shelter. Obviously the one where they do not put them to sleep and hope he gets a better home. Probably against the law but you don't have to tell anyone. Poor pup

Maybe one day while he's out of the apartment (the man) simply walk by and see if the door is unlocked..if so open it enough that the dog can get out then when he comes home he will think he left the door open?lol idk..I'd find some way in or some way to get the dog out..

if it were me id take that dog. i have 2 rescue pups and i took them from the owner. the owner was starving them and kicking them. i took them and i do not regret it till this day. i hate people like that and people like that should be punished big time. let us know what you did this makes me very sad.

I have the biggest heart for animals
All our animals are rescues 
I'm going to do everything in my power to get that puppy out!! I tell my fiancé I want to knock on his door or bang on the walls, but I'm home alone a lot and pregnant, so he doesn't want to cause any waves or me get hurt

No he doesn't put him on the balcony anymore cause the apartments office got calls of it crying all throught the night, or else my fiancé would have taken him already
It's such a good dog, everytime I see it, it's friendly 
Which I'm suprised because of him beating it

But idk if animal control would do anything about it cause they didn't last time when he was on the balcony crying all night with poop and pee all over and on the balcony below

Look into the laws in your state for animal abuse/neglect. I know some states dont have much for laws regarding animals. That poor baby though. Snatch him up if you can!
