i am 18 years old.
me and my ex have been messing around alot lately.
in the past 2 months we have done it 7 times. and we didnt use a condom any of the time. i realize now that it was stupid. but now my period is a week late and i think i might be preg.
i cant tell him that i think i am because he will deny it.
idk if it is too soon to take the test?

please someone help?

you could test now and if it's negative wait 2 weeks and then re-test if its negative and still no period then you might want to go to the doctor for blood test!

If your period is already late you can take the test now. I would advise asking your 'ex' to take the test with you so that you dont have to deal with it alone. This way if it is a positive you wont have to mill over telling him. Its BOTH of your responsibility now that you have BOTH had unprotected sex together.

i would test now!! if its negitive retest again. other then a late period are you having any other pregnancy symptoms? just because you missed your period doesnt mean your pregnant its a main indicator but it dont always mean you are. stress can cause you to be late.

if you have had unprotected 7 times in 2 months then no its not to early, you can get pregnant the first time without protection because pre-ejaculate contains sperm as well as the semen!

Thats difficult. If you have been sick/stressed about getting your period that could be another explanation for it coming late. That must make it really hard for you if you just found that out... Maybe just get a friend to go with you and take a test (moral support). The quicker you find out the better, regardless on what path you choose to take.

anything else like nausea headaches  etc... iwould test as soon as you can, can you get to the store to night to buy a test so you can take it in the morning? morning urine will contain the hcg that will detect if your pregnant or not but you can take it at any time of day just the morning urine will contain a more higher amount

i wake up with a headache alot but not really any nausea.  i had strepthroat and tonsilitis a month ago

You can get tests from Dollar Tree or Dollar General. You could also find a pregnancy center for a free test (Planned Parenthood will charge you for a test). Or you can just go to Walmart and buy some. They range from $6 and up. First Response is a reliable test.

I would hope he would atleast try to support you if he knew. And would your mum definitely kick you out? I know a lot of parents would give off that impression, even threaten it but really when there children are in need will step up. And ofcoarse they dont have to be your only support system. There are other options. Do you work/study?

Many girls have been in your same situation. I used to volunteer at a crisis pregnancy center and a lot of young girls were terrified of their parents' reactions, afraid they'd be kicked out. That rarely happened.

IF that is the case, there are places you could go. FIRST you need to find out you're pregnant or not (stress can make period late) and THEN worry about telling him and your mom.

I know you're scared but you WILL be okay if you are. If you have someone you can confide in (a friend, a sister, etc.) have them go with you to get the test. Have someone who can support you without judgement. Okay? I got pregnant when I was 19 and I was very scared... but then I became very excited!

My daughter is going to be 3 this summer and I wouldn't have changed a thing that happened when I got pregnant with her. You don't know what LIFE you could have inside of you and no matter what it is still a blessing.

I have been with my fiance for 4 years we are totally in love and when my period was late I was still terrified to take the test (I am also 18)

I was pregnant, and (we knew my Mom would be fine) his Mom took it a lot better then we could ever have thought.

At least if you know, you can figure stuff out.

I know a girl whose 19 and found out she was pregnant a couple months ago. She's in college and trying to make something of her life and this happened. While she is and was scared... she is really excited and looking forward to the future, even if the circumstances aren't ideal.
