This is off topic from this forum but, i need advice. last night i let my dog out to pee and then some husky and another dog came into my property and attacked my dog in seconds. My dog had broken ribs and a punctured lung and had a puncture on his stomach and we had to take him to the vet and he was put to sleep.so now i want the owner of the dogs to pay the bill but i don't want to cause a war. What would u do?

Most likely they will have bad feelings towards you now anyways. Not sure where you are at but most states the dog warden will put a dog down for attacking another dog or person. The dog will go to quarintine and stay there till they make a decision. Unless the dog had goid reason to attack( being protective of owner, or it wad provoked) then the dog will most likelt be pur down

That's horrible.  Their dog will get put down because of it. Take them to court,  because obviously the owner didn't do anything about it

Thanks, i just feel bad because my dog knew he was dying. He came up to me and wanted me to pet him.

Take them to court. Those dogs came into your property. Screw your neighbors. Your dog died because of their irresponsibility. It's not fair for you to be stuck with the bill. Take them to court and they'll have to pay.

Depending on how much I spent in vet bills I would definitely cause a war.
