am i over reacting ?

So yesterday my boyfriend were out of town and we get a call that our dog was very sick, we rushed back and we take him to the vet , as were there my boyfriend starts treating me like **** telling me he doesn't care about me he would only care if I was dying ? Just because our dog was dying didn't give him a right to say something like that , I became so upset drove all the way home in tears :/ I cried myself to sleep woke up and our dog was really bad I then went to work , I call ask him to go meet up for lunch with me he says no , I then just blow it off and call his mom to meet me for lunch she does , but he also comes along  as were eating I tell his mom what he had said to me , he then repeats it I'll only care for you if your dying or in labor I tried to hard to hold my tears back eat quickly and head back to work I cried all the way to work. && now the dog ended up passing away . Iask for hI'm to take me to get dinner and he says no :/ now I'm sitting in my nursery crying again ... :(

He said I took it the wrong way , but what other way is there to take it ?  His mom really doesn't get into our buisness so she didn't say anything

What did his mother say/do? That's really awful. As if you're not feeling terrible about your dog too, what total jerk! You're not overreacting, he's being cruel. I'm sorry :(

This is also his first time ever saying something so hurtful . We've been together 3 years & I'm in shock . I tried to make him understand but he doesn't :(

No your not over reacting at all. First of all he shouldnt take his anger on you especially since your pregnant. What you should do is sit with him nd talk to him it'll show that your caring nd well that he should understand that all you were trying to do is help.

Wow....no your not over reacting at all. I'm sure he doesn't really feel that way he's just upset but still he went overboard. Men don't understand everything u say can't be taken back and being pregnant we are already more emotional, it hurts.
