any one throw up and not sick?

ok this has happend to me 2x now....first time I was brushing my teeth and was brushing my tongue and hit my gag reflexes and well then started getting the drive heaves......well this morning I was just fixing my hair for work and (TMI) well since I've been pregnant I've had alot of mucus in my chest....and well some was in my throat and high my gag reflexes and made me have the heaves until I was actually throwing up blood....I guess my question is can this hurt my babies?

I have the same problem with dry heaves but I am a 58 year old male.  I get the heaves 2-3x/week...sometimes when brushing my teeth, sometimes after morning sex, sometimes after just laying in bed a while before I get up (anxiety attack?)  Did you get over yours?

that just happen to me like 15 mins ago i went to my job bathroom to get some tissue and went into a stall i shoulnt have and bam!! my breakfast came right up..most of the time i puke is because of all this mucus in my throat

i do that often.  there will be no reason to throw up and it just happens.  I think it is normal because it has happened to many other women.  I know do this thing where everytime i go into a bathroom i throw up.  Its not the smell or anythiing, it is just being in a bathroom.

My sister in law is 13 weeks pregnant and almost always throws up while brushing her teeth.  Me on the other hand, sometime when I'm in the shower I suddenly feel like I'm going to throw up.  That comes and goes.

My sinuses give me a lot of problems, ESPECIALLY during pregnancy, so every morning when I wake up I have to try and get all the "****" out of them...sometimes it won't come out with blowin it and it will go down into my throat, causing me to gag and either have severe dry heaves so bad it hurts (becuase i haven't put anything in my stomach yet) or If I have had something to drink yet I throw it up....it's been doing that for several weeks now...it is NOT fun.

yeah that's why I thought the blood was there I was heaving so hard....it wasn't to much....glad to know I'm normal  LOL

I use to get sick every morning before I had anything in my stomach. Brushing my teeth made me feel worse! I use to dry heave so bad that I irritated or broke something open in the back of my throat and almost every morning there was some blood! I think it was just because I gagged so hard or had sinus problems at the time...either way...horrible!! Like Danielle said, as long as it's not too much, I think you are fine!

Yea, I've had that happen as well.. I think it'll be fine, if its a lot of blood i'd call the dr but if its not much then I think you guys are okay!

Thanks that helps me feel better.....I guess it wasn't really dry heaves it was just juice and medicine YUCK but I hadn't eaten yet and it was very painful just hoping I wasn't the only one this happend to.

I've had quite a few episodes of dry heaves.. its not fun thats for sure.. I've also had a few times that I had some blood in my vomit, my Mother just thinks it was due to sinuses, the dr said it was okay.  I dont think it will hurt the babies but if you are too concerned call your dr and that'll ease your worries some..
