Freyamae your bag really wont be any different. Just make sure the pants you take aren't even partially tight around your belly. Panties too. Otherwise we go through the same anyone else does. But if you are going to breast feed take your breast feeding pillow to help so you don't have to hold the baby up on top of the pain from recovery. And the minute you start to feel pain make sure you ask for your meds, dont wait or you will end up with a morphine shot like I did the first night after my second lol

Nobody cares about the men lol. They got us in this painful position, they can pack their own bag lmao....

But tlynn is right, make sure they aren't bored, because if they start complaining you may slap them. But male sure they don't have something that will keep them so occupied they ignore you.

I see this a lot we forrget about our men if dad is present make sure he has clothes and snacks. Maybe something to keep him occupied until labor speeds up.

Don't forget your baby book so you can get the foot prints and hand prints in there!! :) and chargers for camera and phone. Extra batteries. And then all the other things these ladies said.

Yes, what they provide for baby and you take home! I work in a hospital and everything patients don't take has to be thrown away. They will usually give you what we call a pitcher, but it is a huge water bottle with a straw take that too, because they cannot wash and reuse.

For you: some comfy stretch pants (maybe 2 or 3 in case of accidental leaks) or shorts even if you're comfy with them, pajamas work as well, nice loose shirt maybe 2 and if you breast feed something with easy access to boob like a button up, bring a couple pairs of undies you don't mind ruining even though those mesh ones really are quite cozy, socks in case your feet get cold, flip flops or slippers for in the delivery room incase you get the chance to walk around during your labor in which case, bring a lightweight robe and some hospitals will allow you to throw your own nightgown on. You'll also want shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and possibly perfume and makeup as well to freshen up before visitors start coming in. In your bag, pack some snacks for dad or your support team so they don't all have to leave you all the time trust me it comes in handy.

For baby: a coming home outfit, 2-3 onesies (I did 1 newborn size and the others 0-3), socks, mittens, and a blanket. If you want to pack a special toy or memorabilia thing too like those little tag blankets or little stuffed animal feel free.

The hospital usually provides you with diapers, wipes, soap for the first bath, any butt cream you may need and even sometimes medicine for the umbilical chord. Just depends on your needs. AND good tip, everything in the room for baby is all yours so take it home and don't feel guilty! The will also have ginormous pads for you to use and you won't like them at first but when your up and walking you'll love them! They'll provide things for and care you'll need PP down there too like a numbing spray or cream and medicated healing pads. Also, if you tear please ask them for the ice pack pads! They are magnificent! They are just what they sound like, an ice pack on a pad and they feel great! That stuff is also yours so take it home, at least the medicated stuff and numbing spray, you never know when you're gonna need it!

And as far as hygiene products, go to the store and get travel sizes or those little travel bottles to put shampoo and stuff in.

I would get it together by 36 weeks because at that point they wont stop your labor. Pack any shampoo or anything you need as far as hygiene, may want to take a towel because theirs are usually small and rough. And a pillow if you are picky like me. Also take dark colored sweat/ stretch pants and some tshirts. Pants are for incase you accidentally bleed  through so they wont stain, and take them not too tight just in case you have a csection. Then pack your baby bag with a passy you want to use if different from hospital, a couple outfits with socks, hat, and onsies incase its cold in your room, and a blanket. They will provide formula if needed, diapers, and wipes.
