im sure these have been asked but still need to know

How do you know if your water breaks? I went to take a shower & used the restroom afterwards then 5 minutes after I got out I had to use the restroom again but this time my underwear were soaked. So did it break or no?
Also yesterday I had a bloody show is that how your mucus plug falls out? There were chunks of snot looking stuff in it. I'm a ftm so I don't know any of this

And no it is most definitely not 24-72hrs before labor. Too many women lose their plugs in the 20wks+ and drs do not even use that as an indicator of labor being close.

Is it jelly like, warm, constantly running and a little colored either with greenish colors or reds?? Its very likely youre just experiencing pregnancy incontinence. It feels nothing at all like needing to pee.

After you start losing your mucus plug they say it's usually 24-72hrs later and you will be in labor! :)

If you still feel like its 'leaking' then yes that's what it sounds like. When mine broke the first time I had just went to the bathroom got back to my room, actually felt a pop kinda like a balloon and I ran back to the bathroom but it wouldn't stop. I needed to wear a pad and sit on a towel. And yes the plug comes out in wipes, it looks like bloody snot! Good luck mama!
