breastfeeding tips
Im a ftm 34 and im supposed to be induced in 3 weeks so im just looking for any advice or what to expect when breastfeeding:)
No it wouldnt be hard to breastfeed with big boobs either it all depends on ur milk flow, u really need to make sure u milk often tho to keep a good supply of milk coming in so it dont dry up!!! You can breastpump to help milk flow but not bottle feed aswell as breastfeed. Theres alot of nurses to help after you had baby to help with latching on so try not to worry about that! :-)
Take advantage of lactation consultant in the hospital when you have baby. Its awkward but worth it, sites you hospital offer classes on it?
my best advice is dont give up to soon. if it starts to hurt get a nipple shield it worked wonders for me as my son couldnt get the latching correct.
I plan on exclusively bfing for the first few months and eventually would like to pump and bf

No I doubt it does because u have ducks on ur boobs thats what the baby suck to stimulate the milk so it would still come out!!
Are u planning on breastfeeding or breastpumping lol, what will happen if u try both is u will have problems after bottle feeding baby to latch back onto your boobs , the breastfeeding and bottle are too different sucking techniques for baby to feed. My daughter was colic I breastfed f 4months and then give her a bottle of sma and then ahe wouldnt breastfeed anymore because she was trying to suck the milk out my boob as if it was a bottle so I had to switch to breastpump.
No I meant like do yu pump before yu go out that way there's a bottle ready when yer out in public:) sorry for the misconception lol
Pumping in public would be a pain having to find outlet carry another bag store milk... Just pump in between feeding to keep supply strong. Def switch sides! Use bra pads to keep from leaking bad. Any skin contact is good don't need to be topless or baby naked. Also don't be surprised if baby eats a lot for a few days then slows down. They go through growth spurts and will need more sometimes. Getting a routine can be hard first week she was trying to feed about every 2 hours. Also make sure you don't use microwave for milk ever! besides possible hotspots in bottle the wave actually breaks down the beneficial properties in milk. Just put bottle in hot water.
Din mean to post yet but i was a b cup now im a c cup so not to big but they get engorged sometimes wen i have to much in there then im like a d cup wish they would always b that size lol
I just nurse where ever im at with baby blanket over me. Its natural alot of the time people dnt even notice just looks like im holding baby lol ny sis calls me a pro. But your boobs will get huge like a few days after birth then they go dwn. they only will fill to how much your baby eats i was.
Im in California I dont think we have feeding rooms... a lot of our restrooms dont even have a changing table...some do but not all
If u use a pump and try to breastfeed it might cause complications with baby I mean teats are a different sucking technique for baby so it would confuse when trying to put bk on breast!
They should go especially when ur milk comes in they fill up and no I didnt use a pump in public just used to find a mother and baby room or a public toilet I dont no about over there but here there was feeding rooms, do u have them in ur town? :-)

Skin to skin is. You topless n baby naked. my chubbs loved it so did i awkward at first but u get use to it n the bonding is beautiful. He latched on with no problems n fed for 15min on each side right after he was born n i have so much milk its crazy. i drove myself crazy thinking it was going to be hard n baby wouldn't latch but it wasn't hard at all. Make sure u rotate breast cuz if u dnt one will have more milk then the other n you will look crazy. my sis made this mistake so now 4months later 1boob is an a cup n the other a c lol. but each day gets easier n u loose weight so much faster. n night feeding so alot easier especially if co sleeping. But i will say i dnt like the way my nipps look anymore i dnt like taking my shirt off during sex n im always leaking sry if tmi but i think il get use to it its only been a month
Skin to skin is basically baby stripped down to nappy and you strip off on top half and breastfeed lol no I would keep nappy on wouldnt wanna be covered in toilet messes haha

Ooo and skin to skin contact with baby helps soothe and comfort baby while feeding! I found this helps when I had problems with latching on baby. I would say its easier to breastfeed then breastpump cuz breastpump u still have to get up at night to warm bottles but breastfeeding it seems to be easier to get to sleep and ur milk already warm so no night journeys :-)
