They say not to, but I always wake up on my back and I'm 35 weeks. I asked my doctor about it and he said that my body will let me know before anything bad were to happen to baby.

My midwife says to do whatever is comfortable. You body will tell you to turn wayyyyyy before there is any issue of blood supply or oxygen for you or baby.

Ive been switching from my back to my left or right side all the way through my pregnancy and my son is perfectly fine. If anything he moves ALOT when Im on my back, so surely he is fine. (: and Im 21 weeks now.

My doctors recommended to sleep on your left side not on your back because it's lessons the blood supply and oxygen to you and your baby
