mucous plug?

So yesterday I went to the dr and I was 1 cm dilated and 50-60% thinned out. I woke up this morning and lost my mucous plug. I'm a ftm so I really don't know much. Just curious as of what's happening like what's next after the mucous plug?

Ermm u cud go in labour but if ur not feeling anything yet like not even warning twinges its dowtfull ppl can loose ther plug n either grow bk or go in labour in cuple weeks if not progressing yet but uv stil got few weeks left in u ..feel free to msg me if u need to no anythin else ..good luck x

U shud begin to feel contractions but how far gone are u ...n sometimes u can loose ur plug n still not b in labour lol keep me updating wit more info n il b happy to help x

Depending how far along you are it will either rebuild itself or you can go into labor within weeks . I'm a ftm as well I'm 35w+5d and I lost my mucus plug last week . Now it's the waiting game on what will happen. Good luck :)
