Dont do it.. It can cause the baby to have their first BM as well and that is not a good thing for them to re swallow. It is just going to cause your insides to hurt even more anyways and gives pretty bad runs. Then if it doesnt help get things going more it will just make you more miserable. You really have a week left and to be honest the best thing to do is just let your body do what it needs to and dont try and force it since that will make things harder. Normally they say a warm bath helps to calm down the contractions.

Glad to hear you decided against it..there are so many known risks and some women still do it knowing those risks. Good on you..hope everything goes well..keep up with the walking baby will be here soon. Make the most of rest too..my daughter is one and I'm 18weeks pregnant and wish I could rest more but with.a wild one year old its near impossible! Good luck xx

I wouldn't recommend it. You would get the affects having stomach virus or food poisoning - all can cause abdominal cramping, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea - more than likely it won't work and you'll just make friends with your toilet all day/night. If nothing has worked, it's a clear sign your body is not yet ready for labour and nothing will work. Let baby come when they're ready, they don't work on our schedule.
