How did you tell your partner?

My bf of 3 1/2 year were trying to have a baby and when I found out I thought I'd do something cute. So I thought it would be cute if when he got home there would be a bun in the oven. So I put a hamburger bun in the oven and told him I had something in the oven for him. When he came back in our room I found out how this idea couldback fire. He ddidn't understand so I asked what was in the oven he said "bread" I laughed said what kind he said "idk sourdough" I laughed and I said no a hamburger....... he replied "idk Erica its a empty hamburger bun" I said oh so there's a bun in the oven. It took him a second but his eyes teared up and he gave me the biggest hug. He's so wonderful I love him.

My husband was with me.... but he was the one who saw the 2 lines... I only saw one! I though it was negative and I put it down to wipe, and he grabbed it and looked... he started to walk across the hallway with his hands on his head (lol) and when I looked again I saw the 2 lines and sreamed: babe!! I think you are going to be a dad!! Hahaha

With our 4th, I emailed a picture of the ept to him at work and he got so excited he called a bunch of his fellow teachers in to see it.  He's been there for all the rest when I found out.

I cried lol he asks what was wrong and tried to comfort me..it was a surprise. His mom passed away and I feel like its too early. Its been hard for him to be excited but he is. It happened so o well lol we are excited and now I dont know what I'd do without our lil boy and he isnt even here. I've always felt everything happens for a reason I almost lost him so its been a complicated preganncy.

I was too scared to do anything cute because mine was a surprise, but maybe next time. I was just glad that he was as happy as I am. I love stories like this :)

Haha that's funny. I find out next month hopefully I'll be like 17 1/2 weeks we're hoping for a girl too.

Idk if mines cute but it's funny lol my husband had been wanting a certain shotgun and I left work early due to bad weather and I stopped by drug store to grab a EPT. I got home took one and had 2 big bold pink lines waited an hour took the other and it was also positive so I called my husband to see when he'd be home. "I'm at the gun shop I'll be home in a few." He got home all excited like a little kid "baby I got something I wanna show ya" as he carries in long box. I said "oh baby do I got something to show you too" he said "ok me first" she pulls out a nice brand new and beautiful shotgun. Shows it to me. And he's like "what you wanna show me?" So I handed him the first test I took and he looked at it a said " what's this?" I said "i peed on it" he just looked at me so I said "I'm prego" he said "it's a girl! It's fate cuz I just bought a shotgun and I didn't even know you were prego!" And he's all excited! We find out if it's a boy or a girl may 30 so we'll see if he's right bout buyin the gun lol
