chlamydia

My friend is 24weeks prego and nurse told her she was tested positive for chlamydia and told her she can only get it by sexual contact. She told her bbydaddy about it so he got tested and came back negative so he feels she have cheated to get the infection and threaten to leave. She was so hurt and torn because she made it clear she never cheated on him in her life especially while she pregnant, I really do believe that she telling the truth but does having sex the only way to receive this kind of STD???

peein in the cup looks fur protein in yur urine... nd i believe they do test fur everything early in pregnancy cuz wen they took my blood the first time nd wen i got the results back the doctor read off everything all the stds nd everything they tested for... nd i think they have too to make sure no pregnant girl has anything cuz if someone  does they have to figure out how to treat it

So she just got it recently im assuming?  Drs are suppose to check for stds and aids early in pregnancy.  well if she has it her bf should be treated also even if it shows up negative.  she could catch it back from him.  The dr should of explained to him sometimes it dont show up in men.

It is hard to detect on men they have through go through quiet a few blood work urine and physicals in order to determine it

I had chlamydia.  Yes sex is the only way to get it, but women can get it from havig too much unprotected sex and not cleaning properly down there after.   If she has unprotected sex and lets its sit in there for a while bacteria can build up and cause the infection.  And since it's inside it puts women at higher risk of getting it. As where men have it all in outside and it is a lot harder for them to contract it.  Just because she has it doesn't mean she cheated.   Because I know I wasn't cheating when I got it.  And he was tested and didn't have it either.

Yes it is the only way but I believe it's really hard to detect in men so he could have it and not even know it even after being tested my sister went through same thing and the doctor told her that it can't be detected in men as much cause there is no internal exam..
