small frequent snacks help. i drank a lot of ginger ale, it worked for me. some people say raw ginger but that is just nasty. there are htings called preggy pops that you get from the store that help. also i guess lemons help. adding a little lemon to your drink, smelling a lemon.
and if all else fails, my prenatal nurse suggest non-drowsy dramamine. it is a pregnancy safe med and subsides the nausea.
on the right hand side there is the health pages click on that and there is two differant posts about morning sickness and theres so much helpful info i would read it :) it will surelly help you . congrats on your pregnancy i wish you a happy healthy 9 months
Just hang in there. By your 2nd trimester, sickness usually subsides. Ask your doctor to see if you can use emetrol. It is an over the counter medication to treat nausea. After 12 weeks I know that you can use phenegran and some other meds prescribed by doc for it. In the mean time, try to eat and drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. All the sickness will soon pay off!
We just found out that we're pregnant. Just like 4 or 5 weeks, but still very nauseous.
The hair lose is probably from your changing hormone levels.
As for nausea, try keeping some crackers or pretzels on you at all times. I also drank a lot of glacier freeze gatorade (TMI...it tastes the same coming back up as it does going down if you do get sick.) Try eating small meals through out the day instead of 2-3 big meals. How far along are you?
