I want to breastfeed if I can
Im actually going to do both.
I'm gonna pump the colostrum then formula feed.
I plan on breastfeeding exclusively for the first 6 months and God willing continuing until the first year or more following stages of baby food and then table foods
I breastfed my first for a week and than used formula (I didn't know much about it at the time and panicked about whether he was getting enough)...now I know I definitely made enough milk! Lol so this one I will be breastfeeding and than after 6 months I will pump (I don't want to get bit when baby teeth start showing up lol)
I prob will breastfeed for the first 2-3 months if I can
Still deciding..I formula feed my son but might trying breastfeeding this time!
I want to breastfeed and then eventually give my baby formula. But I'm worried I won't make enough milk
I plan on giving her the colostrum while I'm in the hospital, then formula feeding.
I haven't really done my homework on breastfeeding but what's so good about the colostrum? I've heard people call it liquid gold lol so I'm just curious
I breastfed my first (daughter) for two months sadly ended because I got mastitis and she refused! :( so baby #2 on the way I plan to exclusively breastfeed the first 6 months then start foods and continue breastfeeding for 6 or more months. :)
Sml143: breast feeding is the best for your baby each woman's milk is made to accommodate the specific needs for the baby and makes up for what their lacking, you lose a crazy amount of weight my friend lost 20 lbs in two weeks from breast feeding, it's free. Honestly there is no formula that can compete with breast milk and the bonding that you and baby have. Colostrum is the stuff that comes out for a few days before your milk comes in and I forget what's so great about it but its best for your baby from what I remember tho lol but I'm going to breast feed for the first 7 mos To a year
The colostrum boosts the babies immune system :)
Breast feeding and pumping when I have to go out.
Definitely breast feeding exclusively for the first 6 months, but hopefully for the first year.
I do both. My 2month old right now eats 12 times a day
so I give her 6 times breastmilk & 6 times formula.
Fyi ladies I did it until ds was 13 months old
Breastfeeding. Then pumping and bottle feeding once the baby starts eating baby food. But who knows. Things and plans change.
