It sounds like paternity is called into question, and if this is the case you need to have a DNA test done when the child is born. While ultrasound dating is fairly accurate, it is by no means 100%. The average time a child will be delivered is anywhere from 37-42 weeks, but going early or late doesn't mean you were further or earlier than you though. This is why there are premature babies - they came too early.

They won't let you go past 42 weeks. With my first she didn't want to come out they had booked me in to be induced at 11am and I went into labour at 1030 lol. So if you go to 42 weeks chances are your baby was bigger than expected at at certain stage when measured hence the dodgy time frame. Everything they give you is a estimate based on adverage length for a unborn baby. I think my little one just didn't want to come out she was quite comfy in there lol.

Oh wow so if you go past it does that mean you werent as far a long as predicted or does that mean the baby just wasnt ready to come out yet

yes that predictor is based on a 28 day cycle and lots of woman dont have a 28 day cycle, so yes you may have concieved or ovulated on another day, i used ovulation strips to track and it doesnt match their predicted day either... and going back to your original question i had my daughter at 41 weeks 5 days(12 days past my estimated due date) they dont tend to let you go past 42 weeks as your placenta starts to get "old" and may not work as well anymore...as far as the adding 2 weeks on it is part of your cycle still, its the time the body is preping to carry the baby so even tho your not prego yet its still counted for as its the begining of your cycle... so at the end they say full term is 38-42 weeks...so there is a whole month where your baby can arrive, well considered full term anyway

Ok I see..that makes sense...well on here I put my due date..& it says I concieved on oct 8th...is it possible that I could have concieved a few days after that or no?

Then you needed to put that in your original post. Sorry if it came across harsh. Ok here goes. They calculate your pregnancy from the first day of your last period so it really gives you a two week window. So you can go from 38-42 weeks. The better calculation is after your ultrasound then they measure your baby and compare it to the adverage for a better guesstamet. Hope that helps
