ready for the baby...

So I go 2 more days till my due date but I haven't felt any contractions or anything at all. Just cramps and backaches. My baby is suppose to be born Sat September 29th...and I've only dilated 3.5in. What can I do to help labor come faster. I really don't want to get induced, even though the Dr.'s already has an appointment for me Oct. 2nd. And I've done all the walking that I can....any help or advice please??

You can go up to two weeks past your due date and they can't make you be induced.....but my midwife said walking won't bring labor but it can physically help....but I've heard spicy foods...tons of pineapple....sex....birthing ball...jumping jacks...a warm shower hitting your back. Good luck :)

I was the same with my daughter. Throughout my whole pregnancy I didn't feel any contractions at all until my water broke and was sent to the hospital for pitocin to make them stronger. I was getting them every 3 minutes but I didn't feel them at all until 2 hours after put on pitocin.

Sex with your man, and try eating pineapple as well, it worked for my cousin! Good luck!

Bounce on an exercise ball or eat spicy foods and do not drink castor oil it's not good. Good luck
