Keep telling me I'm going to deliver early. It's frustrating me because although I'm wanting him here and I'm very uncomfortable, I want him to cook for as long as possible! The lady that first told me said it was because of how short I am (5'4), starting Braxton Hicks around week 26 and my breasts have been leaking for months so she keeps saying expect around35, maybe 36 weeks. Others have said similar things. Is there any truth to this? It's my first baby (fourth pregnancy) and I get upset hearing it, but maybe that's what doctors thought 20 years earlier? Thanks ladies.

I'm 5'1 and never heard anyone say I'm going early because I'm short. Everyone would say they have a good feeling I'm going to have my baby early and even the doctors would tell me after my 38w "good luck" and I kept showing up to my next app. I'm now 40+6 and getting induced tomorrow. Don't listen to anyone because that's what made me so depressed! Everyone kept telling me I'm going to have him early and I got so excited and started wondering why am I still pregnant but he will come when he's ready or in my case he wants to stay in forever it seems lol

Lol .. I hate pols predictions .. its my biggest pet per e with this pregnancy .. everybody wants to put there input in but truthfully no one knows when baby is gonna cone but baby .. with my first pregnancy my mom insisted that I was gonna have my son early because I was carrying big (only on her eyes because I was avg size) she savaged me so bad that I rushed and had my baby shower Dec. 10 and had everything set up by Xmas .. I wasn't due until Feb. 7 and he came on Feb. 3 .. with this pregnancy shes back on her mess saying baby is gonna come early because she thinks I'm big and because I'm shopping for baby at 27w (which she thinks is too early) they predict that baby will be here Jan. 5 .. I'm due Feb. 16 .. its crazy! Lol

Maybe. But how tall you are most certainly has nothing to do with when youll give birth. Or when you start leaking or having braxton hicks. Im 22w 4d with my second and having braxton hicks already. My dr told me its normal and good bcuz they are getting your body ready for the real thing

Everyone says it but usually ftms will go to their due date. Some go early bc of complications but most people go close of not all the way. My dr predicted i wouldnt go past 36 weeks and im 39 weeks still not dialated or effaced so they are inducing me. Good luck and keep that baby in as long as you can!

Awesome thank you, I also know everyone is different so perhaps that was because those were signs they noticed at a certain point and went off of that. I am just getting tired of hearing people telling me I'm going to have a premature baby because I don't want him to have any health problems.
