Also, at the time I had my daughter if I needed to pump at work. I had to do it during my 30 minute lunch break and that was it. Now there are laws in many states that require employers to allow breastfeeding mothers with time and private space for pumping. So if you are going to be a working mom you may want to look into what laws there are in your state so that may not be a challenge for you if you choose to breastfeed.

Breastfeeding is best. It's healthiest for you and baby. But you can do both if you need or want to. It's not necessary to choose one or the other. With my daughter I breastfed only for 3 months but when I went back to work pumping enough to last her through and 8 hr day was challenging so I did have to supplement with formula also.

Only do both if necessary I just don't think u should do both if you don't have to but ya there are some mom's that can't an have to do both but that's cuz they can't but idk that's my opinion on that idk if I will be able to but if I can then that's the only one I will do an if not then I will only do milk

The amount of milk you can produce has NOTHING to do with what cup size you are. That's ridicilious. As long as you do what you are supposed to, it is a proven fact that ANY woman can breast feed. However, if you go slacking and not feeding( or pumping to let milk out) each time ur body thinks it's time to feed u will lose it

The choice is YOURS!!!!!! I'm so sick of people trying to bully people into breast feeding! Do what you are comfortable with. And YES you can feed both formula and breast milk

For those that say 'you can only choose one' that's ridiculous.  You can do as you please. Yes, breast is best but if you choose formula thats fine. Not everyone can breast feed or is comfortable in doing so. And you can do both and in my case I am! I have a very low supply so I predominantly formula feed (not by choice) and give my lo whatever milk of my own that I can express.  Some formulas do make babies constipated but it is just a matter of trial and error. Just because something works fir one baby doesn't mean it will work for yours. In saying that, if you do choose to mix feed, bub is less likely to become constipated because your milk will help. Best of luck. Hope that helped

Some people don't have enough supply & must bottle feed or mixed feed. If you have the luxury of having a good supply feed your baby breast milk, its best for them & it's free. It realeases calming hormones too which help with bonding when you bring bubba home :)

Im breast feeding for cost alone, but if I can't strictly breast feed due to production problems (im an a cup, b cup now that I am pregnant) I will be using both formula and  breast milk. You should see a lactation consultant while you're still in the hospital. Ask what they recommend.
