Im new to this site and need advice. Im 16 weeks 4 days and still living at home, my dads always been kind of a jerk but it keeps getting worse. Today he was looking at a gun for my brother and i told him i dont want to live in a house with a gun and he says to me "good then im getting a gun for sure" and i said to him "you really rather have a gun than your own daughter... really shows your character" and he turns to me yelling "shut your st**id f***ing face you d**mb b**ch its my house and i will do what ever i want" im just at a loss for words and not sure what to do.. my mother is no help and i wont be getting onto my dissability until february so moving out isnt an option yet... anyone have any advice.. or am i just overeacting for not wanting to live with a gun in the house owned by a 16 year old..

Ive only been able to be depressed my entire pregnancy so far and its not fare... i already have enough stress i wish they werent putting more on me...

There is no need for a gun. If he wants to shoot something why cant he paintball or video game!? I already have to deal with his video game language saying such vulgure language i have to go off to another room if i have company over. I dont think he has any need for a gun.

If he has anger issues he probably shouldnt have a gun.. i grew up around them as well so it does not bother me to be around them, however it would make me nervous if the person that owned it had anger issues for sure i totally understand where you are coming from. And his comment was uncalled for as well.

My father doesnt care if he sees my baby or not, if he doesnt care about his dauhter why would he care about his grandchild?

My brother is irresponsible and has anger issues and has hit me and pushed me to the ground and such. And i rather not be stressed with a gun when im having a baby...

I grew up around guns, and personally got my own when I was 8. I don't think it's a big deal.. 16 is old enough to know right from wrong.
