Must admit ginger ale i drank, didnt quit do the trick but made me feel bit better.i suffered badley, not bad enough to warrant medicine, but had them keep an eye out for dyhdration.but i agree small snacks throughout the day rather than normal size meals.either way drink plenty, take regular naps if you can.
The only thing that helped me was ginger ale, it work wonders for me.
Oh also try eating 6-8 small meals a day. Keeping something in your stomach may decrease nausea. Being hungry makes the nausea worse.
Any foods with natural ginger in them will help. Stay away from ginger ale. Also peppermint candy works wonders. The old fashioned white and red striped round ones. Avoid plain water as this can actually increase nausea. Gatorade is excellent you can also try pedialyte that they use for kids. You can even freeze them both and eat as icechips. They will not cause excess weight gain. If all else fails take the medication from your doctor. Dehydration and malnutrition can complicate your pregnancy.
I had to go on IV to rehydrate myself when I was pregnant with my baby. Nothing worked for me except Dry ginger and Gatorade.
Try Gatorade (the blue one)... It keeps down the nausea some. But make sure u discontinue this after your morning sickness passes to not put on too much weight.
Good luck!
Try ginger capsules. I took them for 8 months and they helped with my nausea. My doctor approved them. Try the drug store or GNC.
I would definitely take the medicine that the doctor prescribed you. I was the same way with both of my boys and I wish I would have take the meds my doctor gave me looking back (although they were suppositories) because I was the same way sick every day and night!
