I've been advised to pack either Vaseline or olive oil for the baby as the first bowel movement is like tar and will stick to the skin. I've had our bag packed for over a month now n I'm due on 13th March
I m due 12 march aswell.. Midwives tell you to pack bag two weeks b4 due date... But i was scared as my cousin gave birth at 28wks n she was due in feb.. I know my dh if something like this happen God forbid he wont be able to do much... Now his mind is at rest tht in emergency he got everythig sorted...
In uk circumcisition is done by gp etc but last yr rules hve changed tht its not allowed but due to our religion needs i ll hve to book appointment with gp... Thy dont do it in hospitals... Dont know abt other countries...
Yea I forgot about the towel!!! Lol I still have a lot of time too I'm due march 12 they say you should start your bag at thirty two wks...so I still have time to add things that I will think of oh and the button up shirt is another good idea cuz I'm going to breast feed as well..
don't forget ladies, that if you're having a boy to check your insurance plan to see if they cover circumcisions..if not you will need to bring additional money to get him circumcised if you plan on taking that route. My friend had to bring $100 with her.
And oh i ll be taking some fruits juice and energy booster foods such as nuts etc might tell me dh to spend money buying me sandwiches etc... But i m going to avoid eating big foods just incase i vomit or poo ugh embarrasing... N phone charger n phone n also some extra change for car parking n if i m not allowed to use phone thn some change for phone to call up my family etc..
