Im 26 weeks and have been working at my job since march. I have not mentioned im pregnant to anyone i work with as i dont see its necessary. Me being pregnant doesnt prevent me form any of my job duties.. and im starting to show more. I just dont know when i should let them know ill be taking a leave when i go into labour.. when would be a good time to say something or should i just wait till they ask?

Also, if you're having no problend keeping up with the  work as it is then the have no reason to cut your hours :) just explain to them that you want to stay as active as possible and that you are not having any issues or complications that would require you to cut your hours. I told my bosses that I heard that the more  active you are the easier your labor will be, and I kept my full schedule until 36 weeks when I asked to be cut down.

Lol thanks, complication free pregnancy except heartburn and swelling, I got lucky :) When you tell them explain that you can still do your job the same as before, I was just saying to tell them soon because some bosses may think you:re trying to hide things from them and then you get a downward spiral and that's no fun..

I would let them know sooner rather then later, because you have no idea how you'll be feeling later on down the line. I always said I was going to work until I popped, and had informed my bosses of that, but I have since changed my mind, my last day will be Sunday, I'll be 38+ 1 and I just can't stand as long as I used to, not to mention I'm really really tired. You'll also want to tell them for your own safety, if something happens to you at work, it's better for them to already know you are pregnant then for them to find out after an accident.

Thats what i was thinking! I want to give them enough time to find another girl but i dont want them to do it too soon to where they cut my hours... cause i need the money. I also want them to see im still able to work till i have her.

I would probably mention it soon... that way they are at least prepared to have someone covet you while you're gone. I obtained a job at around 25 weeks and told them a week after I started, just got a second job at 31 weeks and they already knew because I'm showing.. lol oh and I:m 34 weeks now
