Maternity Clothes

Where is a good place to go shopping for maternity clothes??? I had no idea it would be so complicated! I'm 19w2d & I'm literally already outgrowing all my clothes especially my pants & a few of my shirts, & now bras & panties!! I live in NC & the Walmart in my town no longer has a maternity section neither does the Kohls here either, so it pretty much just leaves me with Goodwill (which I can never find me any pants in there). Any suggestions ladies? Lol. I hate to have to go to the pregnancy store at the mall or Babies R Us because there clothes could end up costing me a fortune.. I don't know where to look or go, I'm a ftm.

You don't have to buy maternity clothes. if need be, just get some bigger sizes and clothes with elastic bands.

Honestly I went to gordmans (expensive) to try on things to see what size I needed then I'm ordering online, nearly all the stores I used to get them from don't carry them in the stores but Walmart has been by far the cheapest so far, and they are the same styles I've seen on other sites too.

I like old navy. Super cheap so I can get a lot. Most of it is online though.  They have been taking the section out of the stores...

I'm very cheap and felt the same way. Why spend a fortune on maternity clothes I won't be wearing for long. I went to tj maxx & mostly picked some things up at yardsales if they were kept nice and clean. Putting out an ad in the paper for wanted maternity clothes is a good idea too.

I just went to Wally World... Aka Wal-Mart... There's usually one just about everywhere.  Some Wal-Mart's have a slimmer selection than most, but I got about 5 different tops from there by Danskin, I believe that's what they're called and I got the shorts to match. Don't go crazy on outfits you don't really wear them that long.  I did buy maternity pants, capris and shorts from Zulily.com, when they were on sale because that site can be expensive as well. I also went to DressBarn actually and bought 2 tops from there with a coupon. I just bought tops that were flowy more than form fitting.  Worked for me!  Leggings are also a great bottom (someone else mentioned them too).  Eventually, you won't even care, you'll just want to be comfortable.  OH, I bought some sweatpants from Aeropostale as well... I'm 26 years old, I don't really shop there, but they had some plain styles this summer that didn't have AERO written all over them..LOL... Try there... hope this helps...

Thanks ladies, there's a target & a Ross about an  hour away from me so I'll definitely be going to check out their stuff. And I agree, I refuse to pay a fortune on a few clothes that I'm only going to need for a few months, the expensive ones might be cute but not that cute lol. I like the leggings idea too, so far I've been wearing a couple pairs of loose shorts or yoga pants, but I want to fine me a couple cute pairs of Jeans & shirts. :)

Ross has a good selection. That's where I got my maternity clothes from. I told myself I refuse to spend  a fortune at motherhood when I'm only going to be wearing maternity clothes for about 6 months. But if you can't find anything, your best bet is to wear camisoles & leggings.  :-) that's what I've been getting by with & its super comfy lol..
