You need to talk to your doctor. It's a common problem. He might prescribe you something. Mine did, but I was never able to nurse. It's ok to take something, even if it's just for a little while. Your baby needs a happy healthy mommy. Talk to your doc asap and see what they suggest. I'm sorry momma, I hope you have friends or family to talk to in addition to the ladies on this site.

Have you tried putting him to sleep then moving him in to his crib?
Maybe having a pillow in between you too? Do you breast feed??

Its super normal to feel like that. Sometimes you need to cry it out. If it lasts 2 weeks or more than its serious but the first week is always bad trust me. And breastfeeding gets easier and so does the sleeping I promise you just have to give it another week or two. It gets better. :)

My baby is five days old and I just started getting weepy today for no reason. I also don't really want to let anyone else hold her and I don't feel like dealing with my toddler. Baby blues are normal, but if it gets worse or lasts longer than a couple weeks, get some help, whether that is counseling or anti depressants.

To co sleep safely, make sure your sheets are tight and your mattress is firm. No extra blankets or pillows, and make sure baby sleeps in the center of the bed, not the edge. I've co slept with both kids now and it makes it so much easier for nighttime feedings! Another option is a bassinet our something that hooks to your bed.
