got my first progesterone shot today....

And to my surprise it wasn't were I expected. I went in and sat down and raised my dress to uncover my thigh. And then. The nurse told me to roll over and expose my right butt cheek :/ its so sore. Today was so rough.

I got those every week for my first pregnancy and am gettint them again for this one, im very used to them now lol only mine arent on my butt cheek, i get them on my back hips(love handles).....

I just had my ninth shot and some weeks are better then others.  Its weird,  but my left side rarely hurts,  and my right always seems to be sore for days.  It also funny but when I get it on the right side I'm also way more emotional that weekend. My poor husband never knows what he is walking into ;)

Ouchie I had to get steroid shots in both my cheeks too. The first one was the worst for me the second one wasn't as bad. I hope your bum feels better lol

Well they had me under the impression it was my thigh. So I was ready for that. My husband about lost it. She kept asking me stupid questions and I had already had a bad day so I was being so bluntly honest. And he just kept laughing at my answers lol I've never had a shot in my bum so it threw me off lol
I hate any shots. My *** hurts. My arm from blood work. And my hand from my Iv and my heart from everything else so it was nice to have a small laugh about it.
And once a week I have to get them alternating my butt cheeks lol

Shots in the butt hurt! I had to get a steroid shot in my butt once and ouch it was so sore :/ how often do u have to get them?

I always feel bad giving those :( they're suuuuper thick so we put them in the butt muscle because it is the biggest and absorbs it the best. If it were in your thigh you'd be hurting even more. If it makes you feel better my hand has permanent bruises from giving progesterone injections lol

I got my Tdap shot and my arm hurts like hell if that makes ya feel any better : )
