I'm having contractions that are 2-5 minutes apart I'm 36weeks they are pretty strong but not painful at all. I have no idea if I'm dialated or effaced. Should go to labor and delivery or will I be ok? I really dont want to go and be sent home the hospital is 20min away and I have to get on the highway to get there I have no car so I have get ride.

I had way more than 6 in the past 40min but still painless... I called l&b and they said if my water hasnt broke and baby is moving I can just stay home... thank you tho I sure dnt want to go all the way the hospital to get sent home

All doctors are different but my ob told me unless I have 6 or more contractions an hour they won't do anything. My braxton hicks felt like real contractions which terrifies me for real ones
