I lost mine in the morning during my first morning pee around 7 am and at 2 am I had my baby. This was 12 years ago...The time between losing it to giving birth can very from women to women... so when you wipe after going to the bathroom just take a look at the paper before you throwIit in the toilet. The mucus plug will look like clear snot, like after you blow your nose and the snot it clear. It'l look like that. Sorry for my ddescription but tthat's what it looks like to me. Once you lose the mucus plug you'll start to feel light contractions and they will get more intense until the baby is born.... When you start to feel like you need to poop the baby is ready for you to push Iit out and be born.
Also i have had friends that were in labor for 2 days.
I'm 16, this is also my first pregnancy, I'm 32 weeks and I've heard a little about it. Sometimes you can loose your mucus plug way early, it doesn't necessarily mean labor is on its way. The contractions and dilation are the biggest factors. I've known some women that go into labor and haven't lost their plug yet. It all depends on your body. Congrats! :)
