34 weeks

hi. i am currently 34 weeks pregnet. two nights ago i was still 33 weeks and went into labor and i didnt even know it. i went to the dr. for a regular check up and told my dr that ive been feeling crampy like i was getting my period. she checked my cervix and i was already 2cm dialated and i was 50% efaced. she put me on a monitor and found out that i was in labor. my contractions were at theat point 7 mon. appart. i went to the hospital and they stopped the contractions. but then i was having some inconcistant ones further appart. im still very crampy and now im having really bad diareaha. every so often, my stomach and lower pelvic area get this really sharp intence pain. i already know that my baby is faced down pretty much as far down as u can go without poping out and he is a big baby. they estamate at about 6lbs. i dont know if i should call my dr. back and tell them that im still crampy and everything else or kist let it go. im still having some contractions but they are maybe once ever hour or so. and they are not braxton hicks.

They consider full term 37-40 wks. Your bby is already 6 lbs. Im surprised they tried to stop labor. I know every week is helpful but your body knows when it is time and sometimes the docs calculations are off. You will be ok. Trust your body....

Yes, call your doctor and ask them what they want you to do.  If you dont hear back within a few hours, go to L&D to be checked out.  You are currently preterm and need to do everything you can to prevent your baby from coming early.
