preterm labor at 22 weeks

So yesterday I started getting pains that I can't even describe my bf sister took me to the hospital cause I said it felt like I had to poop well the pains kept coming and getting worse when we got to the hospital it turned out I was in preterm labor. They stopped it and now I'm on strict bed rest. I'm only 22 weeks and they said my little man wouldn't make it if he was born yet. Has anyone else gone through this and if so how did it turn out for you?? I'm a ftm and extremely worried about my little man!!

My friend did she was around the same time as you that this happened she made it to 38 weeks before she gave birth. But she was on bed rest the whole time:/ stinks but you can make it just fine.

I was the same way! I couldn't really do anything else because at that time there was like 14 wild fires burning so the air was super smoky and not good for me and baby.  I colored a lot!

I'm already sick of being stuck in this bed ugh but I know its what's best for the baby but I feel so helpless and I feel like I have forever to go and I think I might go crazy after being stuck in this bed a few more days

Like I said I laid on my couch every day with my feet elevated. They had to stop mine 4 times. Staying super hydrated will help too.

I had this with my last pregnancy. I was also on bed rest. Take it easy and don't stress about the baby. I know that is so much easier said than done. My son was born at 39 weeks.  He was very healthy. He will be 2 in October right before his baby sister comes :). Every day I laid with my feet up.  It helped to relieve a lot of pressure. Hope everything works out for you. I'll keep you and your baby in my prayers.
