pride?

Am I the only one proud of my stretch marks and weight gain? Sometimes I look at pics of my body pre-pregnancy and wish I still looked like that but at the same time I love my body now. I love my fuller boobs, big booty and new curves... I think my baby bump looks attractive! I've been doing prenatal yoga and eating by the books (for the most part haha) and I've packed on 50+ pounds! I just want to know what you ladies like about your sexy new bodies?

Me too!!! I just think I was way to small pre-pregnancy so keeping at least some of the weight would be great! Abd I agree!!! Lol, I would LOVE to keep this bum I've gained! Lol

Lol Luxejess, it'll fade in time at all, soon enough you'll forget it's even there lol :)

Mammaof4410 - Yup :)   They're just part and parcel of being PG so why bother getting upset over them.  How we look later on in pregnancy in the least of our worries so long as babes is ok :)

Gordon - I was the same, you didn't really notice mine while I was PG but you could about a week after Mr arrived.   I use Palmers Cocoa Butter Firming Oil stuff on them and they are fading slowly, but I don't care, Mr is far more important thatn a couple stretch marks lol, and he is certainly worth them :)

BabyTurnip - Awww thats so cute :) x

We tried for so long to finally be pregnant that im not going to be the one that complains about little things like that. I would do it all over again and a thousand times worst if i had too! Im a momma tiger and i will protect my baby like one! My hubby loves my bump! Says hes going to miss it lol and every night after kissing the bump good night he will kiss my stretch mark and say 'thank you' :) those marks means i went threw motherhood and that makes me proud!

I can't say I'm proud of my stretch marks...but they are the least of my concerns in life...lol. I have them on my lower stomach and they actually became more visable after my son was born. Lotions and working.out after I.heal is my plan. If they stick around...so be it. My prince is.worth it

I was feeling good because I didn't have any stretch marks on my belly, but then I checked out my butt in the mirror and saw I have stretch marks on my bum. I was almost upset about it, but then thought, well my husband is the only person who sees my butt, and I'm sure he prefers my full booty with a little bit of stretch marks over the pancake butt I had before. Lol.

They say Maderma works for minimizing the appearance of scars. It will fade in time for sure tho. And don't expose it to sunlight while its still fresh. Just like with stretch marks it makes them darker.

That was actually a question I had mommabear! I am dying for my scar to turn into a pink line so I can shave better. It drives me nuts lol I tried googling that question, but of course it was no help.

Stretch marks come with the package of having a baby. So might as well accepy them.  My husband of 11 years has never made one comment about my stretch marks.  I only got them with my first two pregnancies and I've had 3 pregnancies after. I love my boobies:) lol my husband always jokes that he doesnt want to get attatched to them cuz they're fake lol. And he doesn't want to fight with a newborn over them. Your pregnancy body is beautiful anf H E LL yes I give myself permission to eat whatever I want! I'm healthy my baby is healthy so I'm not gonna deprive myself cuz I'm worried about what I look like. Thats selfish! Im secure with myself enough not to give a dam what anyone else thinks!!

Luxejess - your scar will fade so you'll hardly notice it.    I'm 11w pp today, and mines is already pale pink, Not that anyone would see my bikini line anyway, but I doubt they'd notice it if they did.   :) x

I never minded the stretch marks, but after my c section I felt so ugly with my new scar. I never thought of it to be the same as the stretch marks. I feel loads better now. Thanks for this post!! :)

Mtasker - nothing wrong with Ben & jerrys. I craved ice cream the entire time i was pg lol so i ate a lot. EDs are definitely no fun - personal or professional experience? Im a mental health nurse by trade and worked 5y in an ED specialist unit.

Kmlg- lol 3 weeks? Nothing wrong with that. I was bugging bd for kids after about 2y lol, and this one still wasn't planned at 4y but i wouldn't change him.

Roop - i can see you now doing sex ed, at least it be informative lol x

@mtasker who doesn't like drowning their sorrows in Ben and Jerry's! And eating disorders are no joke. Keep up the good work!
@baby due well, over due, I love knowing that my baby is healthy and happy in there and I love the feeling of how responsible I am for him being so healthy. Its very fulfilling. I seriously wake up everyday hoping to see your baby arrived post!  (I hope I don't sound creepy when I say that!)

The stretch marks and weight gain surprisingly haven't bothered me. My baby is healthy and that's all that matter. The weight will come off after she's born

I don't know if I find my belly attractive necessarily, but I am proud of it! We are creating life and that is something to be proud of. Sure, somedays I look at my prepregnancy photos and drown my sorrows in a bowl of Ben and Jerry's, but most days, I look at my body and I am really happy about it. This coming from someone who has always delt with eat disorders is a pretty cool thing in my book.

@roop one night he went to Walmart about 1am because I wanted corn on the cobb! He used to get me sherbet coolers all the time but they give me heartburn so now he comes home with half gallons of ice cream! And I can't even tell you how many times I've been woken up by him rubbing my belly and giggling because he's kicking.
@momma I wish I could say we've been together that long but we were only together three weeks when I got pregnant and now we have our  little issues but everything happens for a reason.

Yea my hubby just has super sperm. My son was a broken condom and this baby was literally ONE night where we just got caught up. Both of my babies are the "it only takes one time" babies. They are living proof. Lol. Take me to a high school so I can let them all play with my "one time" babies. I would be the sex end teacher ever. Lol

Aw really? Wow so similar lol. Id been on it 8 years never missed a day. Me and daddy were together 4 years when we fell pregnant, so we didn't use any other protection lol. I had an eptopic at 21 so was worried when i found out i was expecting again, but everything was fine :-) x

Mine was always like what do you want for tea, and i was always saying baby wants this or baby wants that. So much so i had him drive to supermarket at 11pm  to get me ice cream. In December. In the snow :-) x

@momma bear holy cow! Same with me! I was on the pill faithfully taking it for two years and I was almost 12 weeks when I found out! I was actually told a few times that I'd never be able to have a child because of Pcos.
@Sammy definitely do one! And take lots of belly pictures to put in there! I think when my boyfriend rubs my belly he feels more connected to the baby. He even talks to him and tells him he loves him. Its so sweet!

Ha ha you'll keep doing it til babes is here lol, i reorganized his room a million times lol. Making sure he had everything he needed and  making sure he was growing well was more important to me than a couple lines on my tummy lol. He wasn't planned cause i was on the pill but definitely the best accident to have ever happened to me lol, i didn't even find out til i was just shy of 12w :-) x

@momma bear I seriously can't wait! I've been organizing and reorganizing his room for days now trying to see which way I like it best haha.
@Sammy time flies so cherish everything! I feel like it was yesterday that I found out I was pregnant and now I'm counting the days til I meet my little man. Looking back I wish I had started a pregnancy journal to remember all the little things that have passed and all the milestones
