pain!! :-(

Hi all I'm 37 weeks pregnant and last night and this morning I have got a really bad pain in my lower belly and at the top of my pubic bone Its kind of like a really bad period pain I don't see my midwife till Thursday and didn't know if I need to contact her as I can't get comfy any were and that means I can't sleep because the pain is that bad :-( please help me. Xx

You should go to the hostipal..i had bad contractions like that and by the time i went to the hostipal i was 7centimeters i was in pain..

Yeah that sounds like contractions to me woman!, It getting worse every now and then are probably contractions, it could be false labor, but better safe than sorry, you're far along enough to where if you were in labor it shouldn't be a problem, but get yourself checked, if it's false labor it shouldn't be so bad you can't sleep or get comfortable, so call your midwife, that's what she's there for!!

If you're getting period like cramps it could be contractions, are they coming and going? If the pain is so bad you can't sleep, contact her right away, definitely! Good luck!
