Head down

I went to my dr appointment (I'm 32+5) yesterday and my dr said my little boys heart beat was great and he was growing right on track! She also said that he is head down still. He's been head down since 28 weeks does that mean that he is wanting to come early or is it normal for him to just get comfy in that position?

I can really tell that hes pretty low but not low enought to cause any pressure. He's running out of room it feels like lol

Pretty much. Most first time moms notice it early (or so they say, I never saw or felt a difference) but even then it doesn't mean much. Nothing really indicates when baby will come, they just do.

So engaging would be once they drop? His head is right between my hips and has been for 4 weeks but he's still high in my hips

Get in position for birthing. Most babies are head down from 20 weeks and beyond. Some flip multiple times.

Thanks :) I was hoping it was a sign that I wasn't gonna go the whole 40 weeks but not until it's safe.

I think it's just normal. Because my little man been head down for while. I'm now 38+2 and no signs of labor what so ever. My cervix is still closed.
