Anxiety

Hi there,
I found out a week ago that I was pregnant for the first time and although I am really happy about this I cannot get rid of these feelings of anxiety and fear.
I'm terrified of something happening or going wrong, even though I have no reason to be. I'm barely sleeping and I'm finding it difficult to eat or even get excited. The few people who know are absolutely delighted and I'm struggling to relax and think about the future.
I'm sure all first time mums feel this but it is it normal to be this scared?
Thanks in advance.

I felt the same at first feb the first 6 months I was convinced something bad was gonna happen and I would never meet my baby but I'm 35 wks now and my stress levels are way down it gets less scary as you go along try a nice warm bath maybe a massage some warm milk and a good sleep you'll feel better about it soon :)

Thank you. I hope I will get less stressed aswell. Its just difficult. My bf and mum think I'm unhappy and thats not true at all I'm just absolutely terrified.
Doesn't help that I'm sleep deprived either lol.
