Lol very true about modesty goes once your in labor , I'm thinking I'll do it. In the moment I probably won't care at all , only right now it seems weird
I took a shower while I was in labor, it didn't help as much as the tub but it did feel good. No you don't wear clothes... it's a shower. Hot water, steamy, tension relieving, plus to wash off the mess if your water has already broken (mine had).
They generally recommend a swimsuit for your partner because if you're in the shower while you're in labor there will likely be a nurse poking in to see how you're doing. If your partner is in there with you... well, he isn't the patient, nobody really wants or needs to see him naked. You of course will be visible for all to see at some point during the process so the modesty bit kind of goes out the window for a while.
something to try... am sure it would be naked tho in the shower room. just like gettin a normal shower
Maybe you could wear your bathing suit, in my papers for my hospital it only mentions bathing suit for your partner. So maybe its your choice if youd like to or not. Youll probably need assitance though
