Most of the CNA'S that wrk under me usually get a doc note frm doc limiting weight lifting ... I tend to help them when I'm able... I'm goin on 14weeks so its pretty hard on me aswell w my 1st son 10yrs ago I had barley got my LPN license nd was Wrkn as a CNA I know it was difficult ... Most Docs advise u not to lift over 50pounds so an aging elderly person is heavier then that so I would demand help from the charge nurse... Also can u put in a request for vacation time or pto... Or u could also just call in and not answer ur phone if they call u too come .... Idk whr u r from but here in Texas the medical field is always hiring maybe look for a diffrent job... Are u married or in a relationship u could talk to ur spouse nd c if u Wrkn part time is an option
I work through the ARC, so I'm a CNA doing the job of a CNA and an LPN. i work in an aging and medical home so there are lifts, wheelchairs, walkers, and behaviors. its just too much. I'm here at work, mad as heck, and my boss says "See? I knew you were fine." I want to slap her! I'm tired. i hurt. all I'm asking is for one day off!
Whr I'm frm they don't like u to call in because of pregnancy unless u have a doc note I'm confused on the cna/lpn in Texas I am a lpn/lvn which is a licensed vocational nurse nd a cna is a nurse assistant there is a big diffrence between the two but I'm not sure whr ur frm ... My job is passing meds nd giving notes nd stuff like that a cna does more lifting so maybe u Cud get a doc note limiting ur job duties
