Yay!! You must be so excited it's working out this time!! =)
hey... i hope it goes well for you too! 4th time was a charm for me so maybe it will be for you too!!!! :)
congrats! that's awesome. With my first i bottle fed...with my last two i attempted BF'ing and ended up having to supplement with formula. This time around i'm going to try again to exclusively breastfeed. I hope mine goes as well as yours is!!
WOW, I cant believe its been a month already!!!! Glad to hear all is well :o)
well, i hope his weight gain continues to be this good! i love having fat babies! all my girls got fat on formula so it will make me very proud for him to be a fatty on breast milk! and its totally worth all the work, too!
k, if i don't go to bed i'll be too pooped for night feedings, lol!!! i'm out!!! :)
It is a very rewarding feeling I know. I have breastfed all 5 of my kids; all for different periods of time. And I am always so "proud" when they have those first appointments because they seem to gain weight like crazy. It just feels so good. I don't know how to explain it but it sounds like you know exactly what I am talking about. Keep up the good work!!! I'm sure Nolan is happy with all your hard work :) And heck, it is hard work!!!
thank you! and it actually physically feels better too... i mean like when i pumped w/ my girls i was constantly engorged. the only time i got relief was right after i pumped and would be comfortable for like an hour before i started to feel too full again. w/ him breastfeeding its not like that... i sometimes feel really full but not to the point of painful engorgement and its only like maybe once in the nightime and only a couple nights a week.
That is wonderful!!!! I am soooooo happy for you!! So glad that you are feeling more confident in your decision and how well you are doing with it!!!
i can't even begin to say how happy it makes me... w/ all 3 of my girls i was unsuccessful at breastfeeding... so w/ them i pumped (1st 2 i pumped for 4 months, 3rd dd i pumped for 2 months). now that i am doing it right this time i keep asking myself... why in the heck couldn't i do this before??? and it is soooo much easier to get ready to go somewhere and not have to pack up bottles and liners and nipples and formula and a mixing bottle... oh, the list goes on! but we'll see how i'm still doing once his teeth start coming in and i get bit!!! that might end up being another story, lol!!!
Congrats to you mom.....sure makes a mommy proud I am sure. Keep up the good work!
That is so wonderful!!! Good job, Nolan!
