awwww i have a really bad headache. my fiance was painting the living room yesterday and it smelt strong. and now today since he wont let me turn air on cuz he thinks its nice outside the heat is making my headache worse. i keep trying to explain that when ur pregnant ur body temp rises. he thinks thats just an excuse.

Ok I guess no one seen that she said he threatened to beat her!  Maybe you need to live with someone who will let you have the air on and not threaten you like that!  I don't care what you do u don't deserve that and he doesn't deserve you!  Period!  Don't take that crap!  Especially with a baby on the way!

lmao babyturnip is exactly right, mines spoiled and hes a mamas boy so of course when i tell him to cook his own dinner or something he goes straight to mama asking her to cook for him lol :P but hey hes learned not to argue with me.. i believe hes only argued back once and i locked him out the house for 6 hours and he didn't do that crap again but i don't have to worry about heat with him. he keeps our house at 62 and keeps fans going in every room grr its cold but that's what blankets are for

I can tell your bf wears the pants in that relationship. Sorry to say hun but you need to stand up for yourself. If your hot just turn the air on. Its simple! I sleep with my window open and a fan blasting on me and my hubby just puts a blanket on his naked butt. If hes cold i just tell him to get dress. Easy peasy really. You got to train them while theyre still young or else ur stuck with a guy like that who thinks youll always listen to him. Im not afraid to say it, i may sound rough but in my relationship i wear the pants. I take care of him and in return he doesnt complain if i want the air on full blast until i see ice cubes forming. Paint fumes arent good btw. Even if you werent pregnant you always need to air out the room.

i def keep air on now while hes at work but as soon as he comes home he turns it off and opens the door and with sun shinin so bright it pounds on my head and i have sensitive skin i get burned really easy especially my scalp

but overall he should be trying to make you happy and a little less misserable not adding too it .. does he even go to apointments with you ? cause if he does next time mention to your doctor the headaches and stuff and he will go over precautions, and your body temp can rise 10 degrees higher than normal while pregnant

:D start bitching, im sure he would prefer the "whining".. some guys are douches but it does take a little bit to get what i want with my fiance he gets aggravated with my whining and will eventually get up a do whatever im asking lol

um well first off your not spost to be around paint fumes... that's why they make special paint that has no fumes for painting around baby's, kids, pregnant women etc.., and im sorry i would've already turned the air on its 102 most days here and if my fiance wants to be hot he can take his butt outside he's defiantly not torturing me with the weather lol :p tell him to turn it on or go sit in walmart :) when the air broke at my house i spent alot of time walking thru walmart.. its so cold in there.

i had the doors opens and the fan going. and when i have the air on he says his chest hurts he loves the heat for some reason i absolutly hate it

I'd just turn the air on and tell him next time he doesn't feel good he can sit in the heat and see how he likes it.

is it well ventilated while he's painting? that's important.. you should have a fan on, windows open, etc. especially while painting, if he thinks it's an excuse have him speak with your dr.
