Aww :) enjoy your special day to the fullest !
This is all great advice and I appreciate it so much. I did vent a little to my sisiter over the phone, put some music on, and gave the boys something to do. Our car broke so he couldn't leave but he did go upstairs to work on the bedroom. I'm at my sprinkle and no one is here lol but he is at least trying to be nice here so maybe it won't be so bad.
I get this a lot. Honestly the only answer I find is this. Tell hubby to go for a drive. Tell him you cant relax and you need him to take a break and clear his mind so he can take over. Put the boys at the kitchen table with crayons, paper, chips and a drink. Turn on some music. Focus on something easy like breathing. And if none of this is age appropriate I'm sorry :(
I'm assuming your baby sprinkle is today? Maybe u can get a close friend or family member to come over early so you can vent and talk with them while you're getting ready. That always helps me when I'm sad/angry and it might distract your boys so they're not so up your butt! I wonder too if they're just sensing your emotions and acting up because of it. Or if no one can come over maybe just call a friend and talk. Hope u feel better!
I think its best to remove yourself from the situation..maybe you should just be alone today.
I agree completely and I keep tearing up on and off, but my body just doesn't want to let it out
I usually go and take a shower and let it all out…it does feel better to cry and let it all out than holding it back
Sometimes it good to just cry and let it all out... It will probably help to release some stress...
