yoga ball!

So i was sitting on a yoga ball at my friends house today and i reilized that if i sit on it with my legs apart against the couch, it takes alot.of pressure off my midsection. So tonight my wonderful fiance went to wally world after work tonight and bought me my own :) i know im not suppose to bounce on it as it can induce labor  but i was wondering if anyone knew any safe ways i could use this to strech or workout to get ready for labor. Any knowledge anyone has would be great! :) thanks!!

I do not know about yoga ball. I have sen exercise ball quite big. Few exercises for balance can be done. I do recall one posture, which is done while sitting in pasmasan( lotus posture) . Leveraging on your hand bounce your buttocks on the ground. This gesture helps to arise the kundaline (energy) to arise in your spine. Probably its name is Uthit padmasam( Bouncint padmasan). It seems this yoga ball is meant for such bouncing or doing some balancing posture. Or if there is an alignment problem.

I love my ball.  I sit on it and rock from side to side or back n forth.  It helps a bunch if i do it right before bed.

Bouncing gently on it shouldnt induce labour. I used mine for weeks with my first 2 kids and they were both overdue! They are very comfortable and help with positioning baby for birth, I've just started to think about getting one as everything is getting crushed now! I used to rock from side to side on it, and I would sometimes kneel on the floor and balance in it with my arms in an all fours position, sometimes that was really comfy and apparently helps with baby getting into the right position for delivery. Do what feels comfy for you and enjoy your big bouncy ball!! PS. Dont let your child get his/her hands on it when they grow up...thats why I need a new one lol!!
