worth the wait?

hey so i'v liked this guy for quite a while I think I love him and he tells me the same but I feel like I'm always putting in more effect, to be honest I need love and effection but he rarely puts in the effect to tell me how I feel, we'v liked each other for like months now but he hasn't asked me out we meet up like every second weekend and we kiss and stuff but I feel like he's using me cause he hasn't asked me out and sometimes I don't even feel like he likes me, like he's kinda given up now that he has me! I'm a year older than him and I feel as if I'm growing out of him, but when we meet up I feel like I'm the only thing that matters to him and I love the way he makes me feel when I'm with him, i have all these guys my age and older after me and I feel like I could we getting someone who cares more about me? but i'v liked him so long? is he worth the wait? or does anyone have any advice

How old are you?  You sound extremely young.

How long have you all been talking to each other?  You stated a long time, but exactly what is that?

You "love him" and you all have never been out together?  Hmmm, that's weird.  He doesn't even sound like a bf.  

If you are having doubts about "this and that" it is probably not the best relationship for you.  You stated you are "putting" more into it.  I would just assume date around and not be "hung up" on this guy.  Find someone better suited for you.

He's not "using" You if all He's done is kiss You when You "meet up like every second weekend".  Maybe for Him it's more like a greeting.

If you feel that you are putting out all the effort then back off. How old are you because there is different advice for different ages. If your under 25 move on tho the next one, but don't be a attention seeker, live your life and a man that wants you he will make it well nown and that don't mean he has to be texting or calling you all day to show u that he likes you and that is for any age.

I would say that he either isn't all that into having a relationship with you or he is so young and inexperienced that he has no idea how to be in one.
