Can someone assist with my throat clogging?

I have just gotten over a 24 hour bug, then I have issues swallowing saliva and syrupy drinks like soda's. When swallowing, I have a feeling of vomiting and I can't eat. With the COVID, I can't contact medical professionals. I hope the issue blows by.

How are you feeling now?  It's been a few days.  I hope you are better.  If you are sick, you can still seek medical care of some sort, I hope.  You can call your doctor and they may go through your symptoms over the phone.  So, your throat felt swollen after throwing up a lot?  Is that what was going on?  Some with covid actually get sick to their stomach and vomit.  They normally have other symptoms too.  Anyway, give us an update and we'll go from there.
