I have a cluster of blisters on my groin, the dr did not check for herpes instead he prescribed doxycycline 100 and the cluster of blisters went away n 3-4days. What could those blisters have been
herpes would heal on its own whether you treated it or not. you really can't rule out herpes based on the symptoms healing in a few days. follow up with testing at the proper time so you know your status in general.

if you are concerned about herpes, you can seek out a type specific herpes igg blood test 3 months after you had last had sex prior to these symptoms to see what your status is.
