test results and getting over anxiety

I (a male) masturbated on another males genitals/anus area about 18 weeks ago in a drunken experimental situation.

My Penis did NOT contact his genitals or anus at all, but was VERY close (probably 1 or 2").  I masturbated to completion on him per his wish.

Didnt think another thing about for about 2-3 days but then all the sudden got a very anxious/panic feeling about STDs.  I ended up taking 4 10-Test panels at 4 weeks, 10 weeks, 15 weeks, and 17 weeks.  All negative.

Tests were:
HIV1/2 by 4th generation
HSV1/2 by Herpeselect
Hep A,B,C
Clam/Gonn by NAAT (urine)
Syphillis by RPR

I know I was way over tested, and my rational mind says no testing was even needed.  Is there any risk in this CLOSE contact, without ANY real contact???

All tests are completely negative, but my mind is racing and I'm having a hard time accepting the results....what is the best way to get over this situation?

If your penis didn't touch any part of your partner, you had no risk for anything. You need to have actual touching for there to be a risk. Not close, but actual touching.

I don't know why you are having such a hard time with this, but is anxiety new for you? My guess is no. Is this a situation where you may have cheated on a partner? If that's the case, remember that guilt doesn't equal risk.

This may or may not apply to you, but just in case - https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2017/dec/29/stop-catastrophising-expert-guide-psychologist

Well auntjessi, I can see this is not your first Rodeo here, you sniffed this one out.  I didn't include that part, but yes this was outside my normal realationship, hence all the anxiety struggle, etc.....

I'll look at the link,

Thank You!
Ha no, you are by far not the only person here who has gone outside their normal relationship and been very anxious after.

I promise you'll be fine. Don't hesitate to reach out for counseling if you need to. You're going to get through this.
