what should i do?

i went to the doctors recently and i got mi results and i been positive for chlamydia and gonorrhea.. so i told my sex partner that i had it.and he flip the tables and said that he didn't have no symptoms at all and i most have gave it to him.Ijust got it i never had it before. if i go to a clinic can it tell me how long i had it. or if it was that serious and i had it for a long period of time what would have happen to me? and now my boyfriend is making me look like the bad guy to his family he swear up and down that he didn't have no symptoms and he couldn't have gave it to me.I dont know what to say or do.

you don't have to have symptoms to have an STD, it is very important to get tested B4 entering into a new sexual relation not only to know your status but to save your self from this kind of trouble. if either of you have had previous sexual partners unprotected than either of you could have brought it in to the relationship. there is no way to know how long you've had it, after reading it sounds like you are a male as well. chlamydia and gono can have  effects on the body but more so in women such as pid. make sure he gets tested and treated and you both should get std testing for all other STDs to learn your status if you haven't already done so

and to clarify you can go without symptoms for 1 year after infection and rarely 2 years
