Will the HPV ever wear off?

My ex girlfriend called me and said she has HPV. and that mean I should have it as well.

I tried to read as much as possible about it and I know that there is no test for men and there is no cure for it and it wears off  (or it should) by time.

My question :
Is there any chance that I don't have it? if yes, how to know? since I don't think I have any warts and it's been a while
How to know that I don't have HPV anymore?
When should I be able to have sex without condoms? Just for the day that I decide to have kids.

no it was my g/f not  a random partner. she had std test result indicating that she has HPV..

I never had gardasil shots.

Last time we had sex was 3 or4 weeks before  she took her test.

Would that make any difference?

was your partner diagnosed as having obvious warts or did she have an abnormal pap?

have you had your gardasil shots?

when did you last have sex with this partner?  is it a regular partner or just a random partner?

Hello

There is a chance that you do NOT have HPV.   However that chance is pretty low.   You can't really know for  sure if you have it or don't.   Most  sexually active people will get it.
And we know that the virus usually clears in about a year.

You can have sex without condoms anytime  you want ---I would however, advice you to always use them ---THEY WORK!
