Chlamydia- How long does it take to cause real problems (sterilization)?

Hello everyone,
This is a difficult weekend for me as last Friday my Nurse informed me that I need to have the test for chlamydia. I will have the test tomorrow however I'm too anxious for the results. The story started on 2015 when I met my co-tenant. He was very kind-well-mannered and good looking I wanted to make a relationship with him however for many reasons (at last he didn't want and I didn't want either) we didn't proceed. However we had sex twice with condoms (one condom each time we had sex two times in one night). After some days or i would say nights I had almost all of the symptoms of chlamydia (burn, pain after urination etc). I had these symptoms for a little long but i didn't go to the doctor. I was also feeling pain if i was not going to the toilet while this pain receded (sometimes not) after going to the toilet. By the time I was about to visit the doctor all symptoms receded (I used to drink a lot of water, washing myself down there when i was facing burn or ache etc). When symptoms disapeared i thought that it could be something my organism faced it by itslef so I didn't emphasize any more and i didn't visit the doctor. This Friday I met a Nurse as I wanted to be registered with an NHS doctor for a routine check up. As we were discussing i reffered to the incidence once (almost two years before October of 2015). Suddenly she looked horrified and she told me that it was my mistake i didn't visit the doctor and that chlamydia doesn't show any symptoms after the initial ones and that complications of the disease may be dramatic ("people may can't make children" this is what she told me). I have this stuff for almost two years 20 months (or i may have this stuff) and I didn't realize anything. :0! May you please inform me. Do you believe that my case may not be curable..? What happens when sb discovers that she has chlamydia after long time (more than a year) are these cases curable. I really feel worried for infertility... How long does it take for chlamydia to cause a real problem? Please also note what i forgot to mention. This guy I slept with he might was a bisexual too. This is what i discovered after some weeks (or months after i slept with him). That was a shock and I didn't expected as he DIDN'T SEEM TO LOOK LIKE A BISEXUAL he was manly and charming. However he brought at least 3 more women after me (and possibly one man:P) in a nine month period. I was very angry but at last i overcame. Now i face this problem because of this jerk! Is Chlamydia curable after so long time if i take medication? Can chlamydia be curable after so long and could it have disappeared by itself through the immune system? How long does it take to cause real problems (sterilization) ? Thank you in advance for yourhelp..
