Constant need to Urinate

Hello,

I am male, I have recently had sex with someone, which was I admit was unprotected.

A day or two after I began feeling the need to urinate, at first I thought I may just be paranoid, but the truth is that the sensation to urinate is a completly new sensation for me, I have always had a very strong bladder and only go toilet once or twice a day, normally due to bladder pressure (If out with friends, we will all drink 10+ pints, they will go to the toilet 5+ times during the night where I will go once, or not even feel the need untill I get home, even after 10 pints).

Going from that I know Something is wrong, as I now constantly feel the need to urinate (Feels like there is a small drop of water/liquid on the tip of my penis), I go, and need to go again instantly, I still have bladder controll so I can hold it in fine, for as long as I need, but the Need is really frustrating / worrying me.

In my paranoia, I instantly booked an appointment as my local GUM clinqe, got tested 3 or 4 days after intercorse, the test came back negative.
They did tell me I may have come in too soon, as it can take a few weeks rather than a few days to show up on tests.
In my paranoia I also took a quick corse of anti-biotics which I had lying around, I'm beginning to think perhaps taking the anti-biotics would have reduced the chances of the test finding anything further. The symptoms only lasted for a few days (Perhaps due to anti biotics) but have returned a few days ago (This is now around 3 weeks later).

I have just got back from my GP / Doctor who tested a urine sample, I don't have any issues there, no infection or anything. She has given me a slip to get a blood test, but advised that its not needed due to the quick test she did on my urine.

Any idea's what the next step is? I think I shall re-book for a second STD test, sadly due to the time of the year I probably wont get an appointment for a week or so,

I have been drinking lots and lots of water, assuming it was a urinary tract infection, which it turns out not to be.

So, the only real symptom I have is this constant need to urinate, the Extreamly occasional/rare twinge of very mild pain (Tho I have a very high pain threshold), and the Extreamly occasional/rare itch, which is probably normal.

Whatever could it be?

I Really don't want to live with the need to go toilet, its anoying, and I feel real sorry for most humans who get that need as a normal/daily thing, always felt blessed with my bladder but its failing me now?! Argh....

Any help / tips would be appreciated, if only for peace of mind.

I would suggest to cut down on drinking, see a Dr and discuss symptom. This does not sound STD related at all.

p.s. With the urine test, sugar levels and white cell count ect were fine, so diabeties has been ruled out.

Plus due to events (I have confidence and social issues and rarely go out) I have had sex twice over the last 5 years, the other time being 2 or 3 years ago, so the timeing of these problems imply I have picked up something.

Male, 28 years old.
