Do I have syphilis?

I am very worried because I had unprotected anal sex with another guy (I was top) about two weeks ago, and now a tiny spot (about 2 - 3 mm wide) has appeared at the base of my penis. I am really worried because I read on the internet that it could be a chancre. I am going to get tested as soon as possible but I am very scared. Please help!!

Thanks for the reply. But if I talk to my doctor about it will he not be able to see whether it really is a chancre?

Well testing now will not tell you anything. The canker normally starts at about 3 weeks. Testing is valid at 6 weeks.

Also test for HIV at 3 months and USE CONDOMS!
